The 100,000 square foot, seven-story Strietmann Center received comprehensive renovations to become Cincinnati’s most modern office building. SSRG was brought in as the experts in historic preservation and restoration, performing concrete repairs and masonry repairs.

The Concrete division performed extensive concrete repairs to the interior concrete structure. The scope included beams, columns and slab repairs.

The Masonry and Geotechnical/Reinforcement Divisions handled installed masonry tie backs to tie back one of the exterior walls. Push Piers were used to undermine a load-bearing elevator shaft wall, and to install a new footer inside the existing elevator shaft..

In the end, The Strietmann was converted into a stunning modern office building, with retail opportunities on the first floor.  The 7th floor is a contemporary conference space complete with a full kitchen and outdoor rooftop terrace with panoramic views. Floors 2-6 contain 70,000 square feet of class A office space. Floor 1 is about 15,000 square feet of street-level restaurant and retail space. The entire building is designed with high ceilings, exposed brick, and filled with natural light.
