SSRG performed extensive concrete repairs to the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Building facade. The building originally opened as a hotel in 1920 and received attention for its extravagance and modernity. The hotel closed in 1963, then reopened as the center of Kentucky government in 1984.

With the building reaching 100 years of age, the facade required restoration. The SSRG team itself performed a large amount of scope, including:

  • Overhead concrete patching in basement
  • Storefront removal
  • New storefront foundation
  • Balcony Removals
  • Fire escape removal

SSRG stabilized this historic Kentucky hotel.
