Kingston House Condominiums

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Schedule: 2012
Cost: $573,000
Type of Project: Concrete repairs and more
Client: Kingston House Condo Association

This project featured the replacement of balcony surfaces and railings at a 48-unit high-rise condominium complex. The existing concrete on the balconies was deteriorated and the railings were loose due to improper installation. SSRG designed new railings to give more surface area on the balconies, researched solutions and installed NEOGARD waterproofing membrane due to its price point, ease of use, economy of repair and practicality of use.

SSRG also removed the balcony tile and replaced it with a tasteful membrane finish, with the option for individual condominium owners to purchase upgraded materials. We developed a great relationship with the board and residents of the complex by providing knowledgeable and professional service at a great value. As a result, what began as a railing replacement project grew to include an expansion joint in the garage, concrete drainage work, caulking, and exterior paint.
