The SSRG Concrete Team completed restoration to Northern Kentucky University’s (NKU) Norse Hall. Norse Hall is a three-level residence hall constructed in 1992. The dormitory houses 308 students and is part of the Leon E. Boothe Residential Village. Check out another higher education project The breezeways were experiencing noticeable aging—rust and corrosion. SSRG teams replaced six different stairways. The teams then performed accompanying concrete and steel repairs. SSRG has years of experience replacing railings The project began in June of 2020, with crews removing damaged elements and breaking up concrete in preparation for repairs. Railings were removed in July, and concrete repairs begain. New steel staircases and walkways were installed in late July and continued through August.
