SSRG’s work restoring the United States Postal Service (USPS) headquarters received an Award of Excellence in Construction from ABC Ohio Valley Chapter. The Excellence in Constructions Gala honors the skill and creativity of the entire team responsible for an outstanding Merit Shop construction project. Award recipients exceed expectations in innovation and quality. This isn’t SSRG’s first Eagle… For the USPS project, SSRG performed over 34,000 self-perform hours, replaced 5,000 SF of Berea Sandstone panels (each weighing 800+ pounds), replaced 292 windows, and cleaned the entire 68,000 SF facade. Learn more about the project. Director of Safety Kim Hoffa, SMS, SGE, was named Woman of the Year. This award recognizes a woman who excels in all areas of her job. Kim exhibits pride, honor, leadership, setting and then raising the standard for quality, is a master of the skills required to do any task, and coaches and mentors others. Learn more about Kim. Kim is not only incredible at her job with SSRG, but she gives back to the community around her. She volunteers on several organizations, including the Advisory Board for Rosie’s Girls, a summer program for 11-13 year old girls designed to build self-esteem and learn basic carpentry and other trade skills.
