Mike Huseman

President

Mike Huseman is the President and founder of Structural Systems Repair Group (SSRG).

Huseman studied construction management at the University of Cincinnati and received a B.A. from Xavier University with a concentration in business. In 2008, he founded Structural Systems Repair Group. Today continues to drive the company’s growth leading up to today, where he presides over SSRG.

Brad Rogers, P.E.

Vice President, Market Leader

As Vice President, Brad is responsible for overseeing all business operations and maintaining the high standards of innovation, quality, and efficiency that both our clients and competitors recognize set us apart.

Additionally, Brad is responsible for the management for SSRG’s Steel/Concrete/Industrial Division. Brad leads the group’s active construction projects, personnel and daily departmental operations.

Brad is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and received a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering followed by a Masters of Science in Structural and Materials Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Tom Massey

Operations Manager

As SSRG’s Director of Operations, Tom is responsible for the oversight and ultimate success of every project. Given his vast experience, he is able to add value to projects from the outset and deliver outstanding results to our clients.

All Project Teams report to Tom. Because of this, he is able to instill best practices and identify talent, while continually tracking and controlling costs throughout the lifespan of each project. Previous to joining SSRG, Tom acted in the capacity of Manager of Operations for Bluegrass Paving.

Ben Steinhauer

Senior Project Manager, Market Leader

Masonry / Carpentry / Foundation

Ben oversees the Masonry/Carpentry/Foundation Division of SSRG.

As Senior Project Manager, Ben is responsible for estimating and scheduling, coordination of bid packages, subcontractor hiring, oversight of the project team from beginning to end and will be the sole contact for the Owner.

Ben is 30-hr OSHA Certified. He studied business at the University of Montana followed by the University of Cincinnati.

Steven Royalty, LEED AP

Project Manager, Market Leader

Concrete Repair / Coatings / Waterproofing

Steven started his career with SSRG in 2007 as a Project Engineer. Over the last decade, he has moved up the ranks within the company and is now the Market Leader of the Concrete Repair/Coatings/Waterproofing Division.

Steven is a LEED Green Associate and 30-hr OSHA Certified. Steven received his BS in Construction Management from Northern Kentucky University.

John Neyer, P.E.

Senior Project Manager

John brings nearly 40 years of construction experience to the SSRG team. John has a 360° understanding of all facets of design and construction with a strong emphasis in Design-Build, General Construction and Subcontractor arenas. John is responsible for setting director for projects from design and operations to sales and estimating, through the project completion.

John is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), LEED AP BD+C Certified, Tilt-Up Concrete Certified Technician and 30-hr OSHA Certified. John received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Steve Shipp, CPA

Vice President, Finance

Steve Shipp acts as the all-seeing eye of costs and expenditures. He is responsible for SSRG’s financial and administrative capabilities, including insurance and bonding. He possesses more than 30 years of accounting experience.

Shipp is renown for being a stringent steward of both our company’s and clients’ money. He received a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University and is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association, the Ohio Society of CPAs and the American Society of CPAs.

Matt Hess, MBA, MHRM, SPHR

Director of Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources, Matt strives to expand and uphold SSRG’s extraordinary culture. With an intense focus on our employees, Hess aims to embody all the best attributes of his discipline- balancing the mechanic demand for compliance, and the yearning for fairness and compassion.

Hess specializes in attention to employee satisfaction and performance management, as well as both leadership and strategy development. Together with his team, he constantly works to improve employee retention and enhance the overall work/life experience for each of our employees.

Josh Shifflet

Director of Safety & Logistics

Josh oversees our acclaimed Safety Team tasked with vigorously safeguarding our employees and providing best-in-class guidance and support to each jobsite and individual. In doing so, he ensures that every circumstance and every environment meets our established safety standards.
