Masonry at Warren County Court projectThe SSRG masonry team has been brought in as expert subcontractors on the Warren County Probate Juvenile Court renovation and addition, which broke ground in May of 2019.

This design/build expansion of the Warren County Probate Juvenile Court adds approximately 16,500 SF to the existing Warren County Juvenile Justice Center. There are also approximately 1,800 SF of existing building space that requires remodeling to accommodate the addition. With a goal to make security and circulation throughout the building as efficient as possible, the new design by Elevar limits crossover between inmates and staff and updates the interior office and courtroom spaces. The design is intended to cohesively blend the old and new into one updated facility.

The masonry team was vested with constructing new interior holding cells and juvenile restrooms at the Warren County Probate Juvenile Court. These features, using 8″ concrete blocks, have required extensive masonry work. The team is also building the brick veneer facade for the new addition. Throughout the project, the team has also led masonry demolition where the new building marries against the existing structure.

The masonry scope of the project is nearing completion, with only a few more weeks of work expected.
